Jordan Marsden slammed a hat-trick, one from the penalty spot, and Dan Johnson’s late effort clinched victory in an entertaining fixture against the Cottagers. Ross McCarthy also earned plaudits for his impressive performance in defence as the Reds were able to come from behind to clinch a place in the next round of the competition.

“It was definitely one of the best games they’ve played,” enthused coach Steve Harcourt afterwards. “Fulham are one of the top three deaf teams in the country so to get a result against them is brilliant.”
