League 2008/09

United rarely do things the easy way.

That was certainly the case in 2008/09 when the Reds clinched a record-equalling 18th league title. At one point, in mid-September, Sir Alex’s men lay in 15th spot. But an 11-game winning streak, from Boxing Day until mid-March, and sound defensive displays helped the Reds haul in Liverpool and go on to claim a memorable piece of silverware.
