Sir Alex Ferguson 25 Years Story | League 2006-2007

League 2006/07

Cristiano Ronaldo shone in a season that yielded a first league title in four years and United’s 16th overall.

For much of the campaign it was a two-horse race, with Chelsea keeping pace until early May. They were the only challengers to United’s eventual crown – third-placed Liverpool finished 21 points off the pace.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s players scored a bucketload of goals – Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney were particularly prolific – and served up plenty of entertainment, as United’s famous never-say-die character shone through at the business end of the season.

We hope you enjoy re-living all the best moments from the 2006/07 campaign in our free video above.
