Sir Alex Ferguson 25 Years Story | League 1998-1991

League 1998/99

No Reds fan will ever forget the magical ending to the 1998/99 season.

League 1998/99

Chasing glory on three fronts, Sir Alex Ferguson’s men overcame 1998’s Double-winners and chief rivals Arsenal in the last-ever FA Cup semi-final replay to set up a sensational finale.

With the momentum growing, there was no time to be nervous as the games came thick and fast with Spurs’ shock lead overturned on the last day at Old Trafford to clinch the title.

The party had only just started as Newcastle and Bayern Munich, in spine-tingling fashion, were overcome in the cups to send the Red Army into delirium.

We hope you enjoy re-living some of the best action from the 1998/99 campaign in our free video above.
