Dublin-born Robert Brady is a talented, tricky and powerful winger.

He first appeared in the Reds’ Under-18s as a schoolboy towards the end of the 2007/08 campaign, and became a first-choice in Paul McGuinness’ side before graduating to the Reserves.

Highly rated at Old Trafford as well as back in Ireland, Brady was an influential member of United’s 2009 Milk Cup-winning squad, scoring five goals in the prestigious Northern Ireland youth tournament.

Although Brady’s climb through the United ranks was slowed substantially by injury throughout the 2009/10 season, he clearly has a bright future and his instant adaptation to first-team life during a loan spell at

Hull City impressed everybody.

Looking a cut above the rest at Under-21 level for his country, a senior call-up from Giovanni Trapattoni cannot be too far around the corner for this tenacious character, who certainly never shirks a challenge.

After improving the defensive side of his game with a stint in the Reserves at full-back, the Irishman’s permanent position now looks fixed as a left winger. He impressed in that role when returning from Hull and playing a part in the success at the end of the 2011/2012 campaign, emerging as a key performer in the Manchester Senior Cup final at the Etihad Stadium.

Another loan move could be on the cards and there may be Premier League interest in his services.
