A versatile left-sided player who is looking for opportunities to prove his worth at reserve-team level.

A classic free-kick goal in the 2011/2012 pre-season against New Mills showed his quality from set-pieces and he is adept at playing at either full back or wide in midfield.

The Salford-born youngster picked up his first Academy goal for the club against Newcastle in 2010/2011 from close range and, although not the biggest, he has tenacity and aggression which show why the coaches have been patient with monitoring his progress.

After finding chances limited, he did

well at the Dallas Cup and set up Larnell Cole’s goal of the tournament against Tigres. And the season ended on a real high for the youngster.

A call-up to the first-team squad for the Harry Gregg Testimonial enabled him to make a debut appearance at that level as a substitute and he followed it up with a late clincher in the Manchester Senior Cup final at the Etihad Stadium, racing onto a Will Keane pass to calmly net the second goal against City.
